I worked in the restaurant industry all throughout college and developed a passion for food and wine. Being community oriented, when I heard about Project Dinner Table it was a great cause that combined two of my passions.

I’m a certified financial planner focusing in the areas of estate, tax and retirement planning for the dental community. I work directly with clients in developing, accomplishing and monitoring their financial planning objectives through information gathering, relationship management and strategic implementation.

I love food, I love people, I love Gina…Project Dinner Table was a natural extension of BLVDS Magazine’s Mission, which is to create a better sense of community and all that it has to offer FOOD, FLAVORS, FRIENDS!

As a culinary school grad and native Las Vegan I was immediately excited about “Project Dinner Table.” This program is something that Vegas has been starving for and marks a crucial point in the development in our community’s food culture that is independent of the Strip. I hope “Project Dinner Table” will pave the way to a more diverse and sophisticated dining scene and I look forward to being a part of it.

Food is incredibly important to me both personally and professionally. My food blog, frugalfoodielasvegas.blogspot.com, allows me to write about new and unique restaurants around town, and my local company, The Good Dog Food Company, allows me to use my culinary background for the benefit of our four-legged friends. Fresh, sustainable, and respected ingredients are the cornerstones of my food philosophy, and Project Dinner Table offers me the perfect outlet for building upon my beliefs.

Gina came to talk with me about the idea of Project Dinner Table and I thought it was one of the best concepts I had ever heard. I am involved with a lot of non-profit organizations and I thought this was really a different approach. We hear a lot about how Las Vegas doesn’t volunteer and we are transient. I think we need to hear about what a great community we are and what great organizations there are in our Valley that are doing amazing things to contribute to our community. People in our community love Las Vegas and here is a great way to come eat, meet new people and be a part of our community. I will listen to problems but I LOVE a solution! Project Dinner Table to me is everything that is good about Las Vegas.

I’ve been involved with Project Dinner Table from its inception.  For me it was a no-brainer; Gina and food are two of my favorite things.  This is an idea whose time has come.  There is a strong movement today towards eating locally and grass roots community building.  I’m excited to be a part of “the next big thing.”

Being  a Las Vegas native, nothing grows here. Especially during 100-and-a-lot degree summers, how would that be possible? Then came Project Dinner Table. Suddenly, the idea of crisp white linens gently blowing in the breeze while experiencing food created with ingredients literally grown in my backyard..in my hometown, no less, seemed extremely appealing. And what was that? I would actually converse with people with similar interests vs. shooting emails at them? Hmm, what a lost art, indeed. Getting involved with Project Dinner Table to handle public relations was an easy choice to make – a deliciously easy choice, to be exact.

When Gina told me about Project Dinner Table, I was in immediately for two reasons. #1-It’s an idea with amazing spirit and #2-I always do what Gina says, with excellent results.

I’m truly inspired to be part of this project. The team’s energy is infectious. Also, as a guy who really digs food, I can only imagine what the meal itself will be like. Bon Appetit!

I got involved with Project Dinner Table because I think this community rally is just what Vegas needs. It’s just something so different/unique to the valley and it’s opening doors to endless possibilities within our community. My company provides the graphic/web support for Project Dinner Table.

For me, Project Dinner Table has all the ingredients to inspire a community; vision, purpose and a social experience to be treasured by all that gather at the table. As an artist, Project Dinner Table inspires my creative spirit and fills my heart and appetite with goodness.

It is a privilege to be invited to the table.
